Mendel Lectures: Kimoon Kim

As part of the Mendel Lectures, we are pleased to invite you to a lecture called "Supramolecular Latch: a New Chemical Tool for Chemistry, Biology and Materials Science”. Kimoon Kim (Pohang University of Science and Technology, Jižní Korea) is the first and current director of the Center for Self-assembly and Complexity at the Institute for Basic Science.

The prestigious Mendel Lectures with eminent guests from the field of medicine and natural sciences are regularly held in the premises of St. Thomas Abbey at Mendel Square from the year 2003. More than 200 foreign scientists have already visited Brno, including 15 Nobel prize laureates. The lectures are open to students and scientists, who gain a unique opportunity to meet and debate with the most important scientific personalities from around the world.
